I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and specialise in working with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety (including intrusive thoughts and compulsions), low self-esteem, addiction, and phobias.

I know how difficult it can be to seek help when feeling anxious, low, or stuck — but hopefully this can be the first step on your journey towards feeling better!

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach which increases self-awareness by recognising that our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are all connected. Applying CBT theory to your own situation and using helpful tools learned in therapy can improve mood, reduce anxiety and promote overall well-being. I hope that we can work together to achieve your mental health goals.

I realise that many people seek counselling sessions to talk to someone in a safe environment and may not have specific goals for counselling from the outset. Just talking about anything that is distressing you and having an active listener who can offer new perspectives can help you to feel so much better.

I will always use the core conditions — empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence — in my sessions with you to create a welcoming, judgement-free space for you to talk about your situation, and to promote a strong client-counsellor relationship.

My aim for all of my clients is for them to have the ability to act as their "own therapist" once they have finished working with me.

I provide a free 20-minute consultation session via Zoom or phone call. All ongoing sessions are delivered online via Zoom or telephone — available to clients anywhere in Scotland and across the UK.
